Looked it up on the internet. Said it was a 4.2. I was in bed watching TV. The bed started to move around and the TV was going back and forth...
It was short. Only a few seconds.
The young lady I am seeing just called me. She is in East Bay and told me she fell over because of the earthquake.
Doesn't seem too serious. I was looking out my window, I live on the top floor of a high rise, at the top of a hill in San Francisco, and there seems to lots of airplanes stacked up over SFO and Oakland airports out in the distance. Could just be traffic on Friday evening.
I just talked to my cousin in Alamo. His house shook pretty well, the roof tiles moved, the swimming pool water spilled .......... not clear how much damage yet. But is was not a simple jolt though the duration was relatively short.
Hope all of you Diablo and Tri-Valley NSXers and your families are ok. The quake didn't sound like it was too bad. I no longer have to deal w/ earthquakes out where I'm at; just the occasional cow in the road , but I can relate.
