Did everyone install a electronich puncture alarm system in his car to check the tire pressure?

When I went to 18/19s I was even more paranoid about running on a flat.. So I did install the "SmarTire" system. You can purchase it at the tire rack. I got the optional display... which shows you individual tire pressures & temps. (gotta have it)

If there is a low tire, an alarm will sound. Haven't tested the alarm part, but the sensors all work well, and the pressures reported are spot on with a tire pressure gauge. The display unit will fit perfectly where the ashtray goes if you take the ashtray out. No problems balancing the wheels etc... Pretty straight forward. Definitely worth it.

Thanks for your feedback.

Is it possible to set the alarm tire pressure for each tire individually, meaning front wheels alarm at 30 psi and rear at 35?

Hugh, thanks for the link.
Again, there is a significant price difference between Europe and the US, about $542 against $244. Interesting, as soon as the batteries are low the whole sensor has to be changed. But that's the only negative point I can see.
