Engine and compartment getting super hot after mods!

here it is.recently got some mods.dali clutch and flywheel,dc headers,rm exhaust.got her back today.before the mods I could run her 150 across a local bridge stop for gas a drink whatever pop the hood on the motor and lay my hand right on the top where the honda plate is or the sides and she was barely warm to the touch.after the said mods I make a quick run to the store driving like gramps and pop the hood and cant even touch the strut bar never mind the motor.BUT the engine temp gauge is where she has always been showing temp is fine.is this normal after header exhaust mods.and or is it a concern?

Likely due to the heat shielding being removed from the manifolds and possibly the headers dissipating more heat. Don't worry about it
