I had Matt (d1 guy) rebuild my EPS rack recently because the off-center "knock" was getting worse. He provided a very quick turnaround and excellent communication. I had no troubles getting a response from him almost immediately.
In terms of the service itself...one word, WOW! The car feels completely transformed now. I was able to go for a nice drive around some of my favorite backroads over the weekend and I kept thinking to myself "now THIS is what an NSX is supposed to drive like!" Steering response is so much quicker and steering input is exponentially more accurate. It actually cured all of the understeer I had been feeling around some of my favorite turns - the car rotates so beautifully neutral now and pivots the way I always expected a mid-engined car should.
It seems like Matt is the only guy around offering this service. Lucky for us he's reliable, amicable, and a technical magician! To any of you guys considering getting your EPS rack rebuilt...DO IT!
