I need help here...

The check engine light went on and ODBII returned an error code P0441. The local Acura folks followed the flowchart: replaced the canister vent, reset the ECM, changed the purge valve set solenoid ... and the check engine light is still on.

They concluded that the ECM (37820-PR7-A32 / 37820-PR7-A33) may be the cause.

Any thoughts?

What year?

Did they replace the fuel cap?

yes and no, you can check the circuits for that code going into the ecm and coming back out. that would tell you if the code is ecu related. but if the signals going in and coming out are good, that means its not the ecu thats the cause of the code. i would have a smoke machine hooked up to it to check for a vac leak. that code is the same for alot of different cars. im not a certified acura/honda tech, im a gm and toyota certified tech. but that code i have diagnosed in alot of different makes and models. i could be wrong, but what you just described is the same thing ive encountered hundreds of times. ill pull my service manual out and check it out, and ill check alldata as well. but if its the same code, ill bet you have a vacuum leak somewhere that only a smoke machine will find.

17670-SM4-A04 Fuel cap. For $26 list I would change it.......

My $.02
