ET for 16'/17'

I think I will get black 5Zigen FN01R-C. Are these offsets ok (there is only one possibility for the 16' front wheels and I have to get 16' fronts to fit semi-slick tires with approximatively corresponding radius) ?.

16' x 7', ET=42, 225/25 tires
17' x 9', ET=35, 255/40 tires (or is ET=43 better ?)

The best offset setting for 16 17 is
16x8 +30 use 225/45/16 tires
17x9.5 +42 use 255/40/17 tires.
This is the informatioan I got from my friend in Japan, who is the owner of NSX specialist shop, www.advance-jp.com
He told me, the best handling NSX is using this size of wheels and tires.
I am currently use Volk racing TE37 in this size, I like it.

Hi Guys, what is the offset for the standard wheels thht are 16/17 . Ours is a 2000 model if it matters.
