Event calendar

Alright guys... Ole here and I'm working on being a decent regional representative for the NSXCA, but I'm going to need your help.

Seems to me that there's a lot going on and no central place for one to go and say "Let's do this this weekend!" So, I'm requesting that those of you who know of, or sponsor, or are even anticipating creating an event that we'd like to show up at (it doesn't have to be NSX related) send a shout out and let's create a calendar.

The first place, and easiest I think, is to list any recurring shows - NSEXpo of course, Cars and Coffee in different places, Concourse events, whatever you think would be of general interest. I'll see if there's a way to get it posted here on NSXPrime.

You can also PM me with events or ideas. I'm open to it all and anywhere in the Southeast region.

Great Idea. I live in the Raleigh area and maintain a roster of NSX owners in the NC/SC area. Numbers 50 right now. I also coordinate events for the area owners. Along with MC36 in Charlotte, we have planned several joint events for the Charlotte and Raleigh area owners.

Will do my best to contribute to this event calendar.

Thanks for your feedback. It seems that response is a bit underwhelming, so we can hang out here and wait (which doesn't seem to make a lot of sense) or post in our respective states and then amalgamate the findings later.

NSX Owners Meet @ Foreign Cars Italia - May 21st - 10 am​

It it is spring and that time of the year again to meet up! We have nailed down a date for the 3rd annual NC/SC/VA Mini NSX Expo being held Saturday- May 21st @ Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro NC! John K and I have taken a straw poll and found that this date works the best clearing all spring break plans and before the summer vacations start being planned. The last two years we have been at FCI which has worked out perfectly and Ferrari Manager Lawrence Martin has generously offered to host us again!

To all those that attended last year we had a blast visiting with one another and swapping stories. The tour of FCI and the garage was truly a trill as well. We hope to expand our reach and get additional NSX owners to come out. We had owners from all over NC as well as SC and VA in attendance, we hope to increase our number significantly this year.

We typically meet at FCI around 10 am hang out, tour and head out for lunch around 12:30 (Stamey's was a good choice last year, maybe high on the list for this year). There are caravans that leave from the Charlotte and Raleigh areas that will be organized as we get closer to the go day. For those that were in that caravan last year the meeting of the EAST and WEST merging together was like it was scripted out of a movie, really cool! Feel free to put together others from VA or SC if needed. If the drive is too much for some in a day I can suggest and research some hotels if needed, just let me know.

I am not sure this is a great idea. For example, people from Florida do not care about cars and coffee events in MD. For big gathering like NSXPO and Car shows it does make sense. I just think that we have sub forums for local meets (C&O) and there is no need to make a separate place for them. I am in no way trying to knock any ideas, just offering my .02.
