I have just bought a high boost pulley for my autorotor CTSC'ed nsx. I was told that i need to increase the size of my nsx's injectors to 550cc. The problem is that RC Engineering injectors are hard to source in Malaysia and the waiting period is about 6 weeks.

I have been told that mitsubishi evo 8's OEM 560 cc injectors may be used for the NSX. Can someone on prime confirm this?

Evo 8 OEM injectors are easily obtained in Malaysia.

Thanks guys.

The injectors should be fine. I am fairly sure the evo injectors are low impedance, as they look the same as other low impedance denso injectors, but you probably should check. One problem though, is that the end of the injector that sits in the manifold is a different shape to the honda (keihin) injectors. You can still seat the denso's on the honda o-ring, but it isn't the best. At high boost, the seal can leak.

I am also going to use denso injectors (SARD 700cc) and will be machining adapters to allow a good o-ring seal. How soon are you planning on fitting them?

The oem evo 8 injectors are P&H (low impedance) injectors.
If the evo 8 injectors doesn't sit properly on the nsx and will leak at high boost, will it damage the engine?

Unless i can find a quality used set of RC engineering 550 cc for sale on prime, I am thinking of installing evo 8 injectors on my car by 16 May 2006.

Thanks for your help guys.

I doubt you will have a problem with the injector seals at the boost levels you are going to run. I had problems running over 20psi on my civic. had to glue the o-rings in otherwise they would push past the lip on the injector.
