Can someone explain to me why there is a boarder patrol check point 60 miles away from the boarder in AZ?

They say "Show me your papers" ...sounds familiar to me from somewhere. And no I'm not a right wing extremist but this doesn't make me happy to see this happening on US soil where everyone is being subjected to search w/o probable cause.

I think one thing people forget is most cops haven't been to college.
The only cops with college degrees are state troopers.
Not saying they're dumb, but I think most people forget this when dealing with them.
They have your freedom in their hands, and they may not be the most well rounded people on the earth..
