Why get the new NSX when you can get an 07 F430 for $150K with 491 miles

On Ebay it got to $164K and reserve not met...obviously the $150K price is bogus. The average asking price for low-mileage F430s is around $230K. Probably a salvage title or something.
Okay then, here's another one:

Yes, but that's an 05 with 15K miles on it. Still doesn't explain the 07 with <500 miles going for $150K.
Yes I agree that 07 seemed too good to be true. And as you’ve stated it hasn’t even reached it’s reserve.Yes, but that's an 05 with 15K miles on it. Still doesn't explain the 07 with <500 miles going for $150K.
I don’t know if you are joking or not, but late model Ferraris have gotten a lot better at being daily drivers. It may not be NSX dependability but….I didn't realize you could put 15,000 miles on a Ferrari. It's probably ready for a engine rebuild...
You guys down under really get fooked. I didn’t realize how expensive cars are in Australia until I started watching Top Gear Australia. Wow some of the prices are crazy. Would it be worth it to ship down there?Australia's cheapest Gallardo = US $190,000
Cheapest F430 = US $228,000
Time to put some of these American cars on boats and ship them over here!

But you still can’t deny the price on the 05 F430.
Well, again, I'm not sure one can draw a conclusion about the list price of $150K on Craigslist. The car bid higher than that on Ebay and reserve was above $150K. I think that $150K price was a typo, inaccurate or both. Why would the reserve been higher on Ebay if the owner was willing to part with it for $150K?
And I agreed with you on the 07. I was referring to the 2005 F430 on autotrader.com for $145K

Hahahahaha… Yah it’s true 15,000 miles is a lot on a Ferrari ;-)Dude, that car's got almost 16k miles on it... That's like 160k Honda miles.
Plus it's a 2005, that's like... A Grandma in Ferrari year...
What was the MSRP for that car back in 2005? $170k?
"What was the MSRP for that car back in 2005? $170k?" Not many were paying MSRP on 430's there was a FNA dealer markup, (had to have your name on a list and such) and until last year was 25k to 40k + on top, where most Gallardo's were sold at MSRP. I feel for the 430 guys as they have not only lost the car value, but got stuck with the stealer markup as well...

F-car values are continuosly dropping in the bay area where exotics used to run around like Civics but with many guys taking 2nd/3rd mortgages to flaunt their "imaginary wealth" now they are all GONE GONE GONE.
A lot of people were doing fire sales to liquidate what they can quickly to pay off their high interest LOC's that have adjustable rates ~ quite scary. I can only imagine having a loan for $200k at 8% interest on a car that used to be worth $200k and now is worth $150k. The owner not only loses $50k but still has to make payments till the car sells - certainly not a scenario I want to be caught in.
Most of these types of cars should only be bought in cash. I had a chance to buy one a few years back but thank god I didn't do it. I actually make a small bit of money on my 997 GT3 and got into the NSX at the right time. Feels good to have a nice NSX and an extra $50k in the bank
My girl suggested the other day I can sell the nsx if I wanted to buy a F430 and I said no thanks ~ I like my current position much better.

Well then the Gallardo's have faired a lot better vs the F430."How much was a Gallardo new, ~$180K "
04 $167k and thanks it is my car...
