What kind of file is that and what program do you use to play it?

It is just a downloadable Quick Time File. Is the link not working?

When I click on it, it tries opening it with Windows Media Player and says that the format is not valid. Should I be using a different app?

since its a .mov file; use quicktime

using windows media player may not be the best choice, there are a few compatability issues with using that and quicktime files.

Download a copy of quicktime.

Actually all the videos on the "Video" Page are Quicktime format. There's a link to get it directly if you don't already have it on the video page.
