started as mission to retrieve a pet for my kids, that quickly went south

as you may know, i sport big stupid tyres on my mobile, and tonight, suffered a sidewall aneurysm hitting a pothole on a rear. for what we pay in taxes in nj, you think rt 287 would be paved in smooth shiny gold...but no.
no prob, i'm usta it, and swap the spare in 10 mins... and pick up the beast at the breeders house near new brunswick. start the trek home, when pffffffff,
the spare suffers a catastrophic delamination
, on rt 287 of course
i call my pal mike lasko, as if he'll save my bacon. he works hard for acura, and
is really handy with cars[ read this as he only knows how to buy them and go really fast...:biggrin: ] bad news, he's planned on getting some tail this evening, if you know what i mean...
"the kid" sets me up with his nite catastrophe person DAVE, who battles raindrops, and insane carlife in nj to bring a replacement tire[ off an acura tl] to me on the highway. rereinstall a spare and off i go. these men are heroes!!
i was able to get home safe with my precious cargo, the nsx of rodents
a 2month old chinchilla kit.....
my kids are in love, as am i.
