Father's Day gift

Hi all! I know nothing about cars, except that my husband loves NSX's. Almost as much as he loves me. Okay, maybe a little more than he loves me:smile:

What would be a great gift for father's day related to NSX?

Please don't say any parts, because I don't even know what kind of NSX he has. Anything else come to mind?

Oh, I doubt he love's the NSX more - but maybe it's a close 2nd. :)

I have a spare coffee table book stored somewhere if he doesn't have one. Might make a nice gift.

NSX Wives are the BEST.

Suggestions:

- a "gift certificate" for Science of Speed https://www.scienceofspeed.com/

- a "gift certificate" to your best local paint protection film (PPF) and/or Ceramic Coating application specialist

My wife, sadly is not an NSX wife. But that is on her, and otherwise is a great wife.

If your husband is a hands on mechanic, maybe some car parts. If he is hands off, but likes a clean car, a car cover or dust free brush. A coffee table book is a great idea.

A scale model is a nice present for an office desk.

A gift of a high performance driving school session or weekend would be sweet as well.

Thank you! My husband is hands on, but I don't know the details of the car, so can't really get parts. A scale model is a great idea - I'll look into that. Thanks!

Yes, that price range is in line with estimates I have received.
 
fwiw our Lexus GX was 1900 for ceramic...Xpel ppf would be about 5-7K
 
Lucky for me, my wife has been very supportive of my madness for many years, including 25 years of Road Racing an MR2 in the SCCA and now as an NSX owner/custodian.

You could google Yelp for highly rated detailers in your area. A perfectly clean NSX is always a source of joy for most owners. BTW a wife that would put in the work you have done in reaching out to the NSX community is a gem. Your husband has already won the lotto no matter what you get him. I hope he realizes that! Best of luck in your search.

Another idea that may not cost much at all is going on a long drive with him in his NSX - an opportunity to have some quality alone time which I am sure is quite rare! Ever since I got my NSX, every drive with my wife has been a special experience.

Regardless of what you get him, he will feel loved!
 
Some great ideas suggested in this post. Prime members are the best! Not to be all "hey I'm trying to sell you something", but I do have a new GROM unit that I intended to install in my last NSX. Your husband may already have one, or it may not be the ideal gift if he's the kind of guy that doesn't want to take a little time to install it and set up his phone to connect to the OEM stereo via blue tooth. OR, his NSX might not have an OEM stereo!!!!
