Ferrari FXX vid on the track

Hi

Pretty slippery around 2.41 in that clip

Regards

My GAWD! Simply an amazing sound coming from that car. My Dad now needs a lovefab to keep up.

I have seen this car live, it's a monster. You fear it the millisecond you get your first look at it. LOVE the wheels on it, kind of flat black like colour with red lip (it doesn't have much lip though).

800 hp or something right? Like Jeremy Clarkson said about Ferrari; Downscaled version of God!

Edit; Not this car, but car like that (FXX) - in red.

I would like to see him be a little smoother. You can tell he has spent a lot of time in Porsches though and he does have good car control.

There is a nice Enzo video on the 2nd page of the video site (where he really gets the car drifting).

That shows how hard it is to controll a monster like that! wow awsome vid:biggrin:

wow! that thing looks tough to control.....looks like the car is struggling for traction with all that power......i wonder who the owner is

I would like to see MS driving one of those....

Thanks for sharing the vid and the link to his other vids.

Comparing the Enzo and the FXX, it seems as though the Enzo was a lot more easier to get sideways and lose control. I would've thought it would have been vice versa. I'm sure there's a difference in tires between the two amongst many other things which I can't name.

I was both amazed and confused.  This driver fought the car just about the whole time around the track with some deftly fast steering I might add. It doesn't seem like what I would expect from a race car other than raw power-- wouldn't handling predictability be about #1 on the list of safety features? I apologize if I'm missing something here. He short shifted in the corners a few times and fish tailed 8 or 10 times in 3 laps-- cold tires maybe? Do F1 drivers deal with snap oversteer after exiting a corner or is the Ferrari throttle an on/off switch?

Thanks for the video! La vista era incredible ed era una brava macchina!

I don't think it's the car. The car probably handles fantastic. He is just over driving it. He has good car control and he keeps it together, but I'm sure it's not the fastest way around the track.

It is easy to talk about though, I'm sure the car is a monster to drive... it can break traction at almost any point!

It would be interesting to find some in car video of professional drivers behind the wheel of that same car.

Maybe it's the video quality but that 2nd video doesn't look like he is going as fast as the porsche guy.

Keep in mind I have no sound on my computer here at work.

This is the same car with a pro behind the wheel! Is it Schumacher?

What a difference though, this driver is so smooth and precise.

Now that's what I'm talking about! Even the shifting is perfectly timed on every lap. It seems the other fellow was overdriving the car a bit...

BTW-- Cambio Pilota means driver change

Ya it looks like the 2nd driver is faster on the 2nd video. I wonder who the two different drivers are.
