Absolutely beautiful Daniel. Sad to see it being sold. Are you planning on another NSX project?

yes, hopefully very soon~!!!

Maybe you can help me understand this, because I have some questions, and I'm not trying to be a prick. If I recall, you haven't had this car completed for that long of a time, correct? Am I right that you most likely took a loss on the car to sell it taking into consideration the cost of the car, parts, labor, etc. What is your drive to continue with another "project car" if you don't end up coming out ahead in the end financially? Is it that you just enjoy working on a car yourself (assuming you do the work yourself)? Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the cool custom cars (and yours is beautiful by the way) I see done up on websites and so forth, I'm just trying to understand the thinking that goes into doing them.

p.s. Maybe its just cuz I'm a cheap dutch guy that I'll never understand...

I think he just love cars! Sometime we add/do things to our cars knowing very well that it's not a smart investment.

hahaha... great find. and yes. not always do we fix up our cars with financial gains or investments in mind. and the car has only been completed in this current state for less than a year now. but taking into consideration how much money was put into the car, the experience, enjoyment, and memories of being able to drive a car like this is all worth it.

thanks to all the great people of the nsx community, prime, the guys at SOS (seth and chris), peter at downforce, eddie with mackin/volk and others... its made this nsx project well worth it...

be back for ROUND II soon~!!!

That's are some INCREDIBLE lookin' cars you got there!

Any more pics of the G35? those taillights look SICK!!

ditto. paint or tint?

the tailights were smoke tint film. they were applied over the OEM tailights. looks black by day, but the RED LEDS shine through just fine at night. will try to shoot new pics with the LEDS on...

here's a few more from the shoot. not really any good ones of tailight. and these photos haven't been too post-processed yet by photoshop, so please excuse the 'crappiness'....

That's a shame you're selling. Your photos have always been awesome, and that orange paintjob is so striking. What I appreciate most is how you've really modded it hardcore but haven't coated it in stickers. All the best with your next project. <IMG SRC="http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif">

Looking forward to seeing the car in person. Mike sounded very excited to get out there and get everything taken care of.

Mike Bergman??

That car looks great. Why are you selling it anyway?? Is it just so you can start a new one?? Just wondering.

the new OWNER's name is: Michael Thienel of Auto Trim Designs (wisconsin). he's heading out on this saturday (july 23rd) to take a look at the car, and then the car will get loaded up on a transporter on the 25th out to wisconsin. :frown:

there's been a few reason to sell the car. 1, adjusting a few priorities right now i have currently in my life (being that i'm 25 and still trying to make good choices with opportunity as i see them). 2, yes, i do want and wish to plan on building a project 2 car. and instead of tearing everything off this car, i'd rather start on a whole new platform. perhaps, i may return to the murcielago orange in the future, but with what setup, still not too sure...

but i know i want to be back really sooon....

here's picture of the taillights (ON/OFF):

smoke tint film
umm, wish they are a little less dark. Kind of worrying how it look under bright sun light... You know cars used to tinted their tail light to the point that you can't see the brake lights are working under sun.

anyone have more info on this? wondering if this will be the cheap alt. option for making a USDM tail lights to JDM looking one.

Rowland Heights? How come I've never seen her around here? I just live over the hill in Diamond Bar. Those shots were taken at the Libbey factory right?

Where did you take this picture? I love the background although it's just a wall.

You mind letting me take a look at the car before the guy comes to pick her up? I want to take some pictures with my new DRebel. Let me know!
