It's been a long search and a long wait but finally ready to be installed. Thanks Ravi, thanks Procar, and thank you docjohn, cl65captain and especially Billy Johnson for all the help with getting these bad boys ready.

The ultimate suspension for the NSX.

I just hope they fit. LOL. Will report back on how these perform/ride.

I can't believe it.........

LOL... hey good things take time. I am going to attempt this install next week. Frankly I am a bit afraid of how firm the ride will be with these springs but we will see. I am sure this will be a GIANT step forward from the factory in terms of handling and actual wheel control.

Now I gotta figure out if I can fit the VRH tank in my trunk alongside my targa top. I didn't think of this possible "issue" beforehand. I have no clamshell.

I'm not a suspension guy. Which model is that? And how much? I'm curious to see what they look like on your car!

They are KW competitions. That is KW's top of the line setup. Last I checked the price from KW, they told me $10,000. The canisters on top is a VRH lift from Umbrella Auto design that allows me to raise the car 3". That is about $4000. I bought the dampers used from Procar in germany, they came off a Movit brakes and KW sponsored NSX race car. The springs are 1000 pound swifts in the front and 600 pound swifts in the rear. The helper springs are KW. I actually "softened" the original setup that was almost 1300/900.

These Dampers and springs are the same ones used on FXMD's record holding time attack NSX driven by Billy Johnson. He has been of enormous help to me with trying to set these up, can't think him enough.

Despite the incredible handling, these things allow you to go over bumps like a boss. LOL...

I hope they are as good as advertised because with install the setup costs as much as a new Honda Fit.

Ah ok, the canisters threw me. I was wondering why they didn't look like the ones on KW's web page: http://www.kw-suspension.com/us/kw_competition.php

But wow, the price! I hope they are worth it! Please post some pics once they are installed. I'm sure they put my JIC coilovers to shame.

Thanks for the link man, they have an actual owner's manual up now, I really wanted that! I'll try to document the install.

Nicely done, they look great. Let us know how well they perform.

I just ordered the cheap BC's with the 10k/8k Swifts so we'll see how they are. I'm pulling my TEIN RA's, the car handles amazing but is a little too stiff for me. The VRH is a very nice feature you have as well.

For me, just way too rich for my blood though

Just for kicks you should throw them in your trunk, drive down to the local Midas and ask a quote for installation.

ROFLMAO....

"and I have this small leak in the ARC Titanium exhaust can you look at this?"...

do you have a pic of the rest of the kit?

I thought that you are going to sell your NSX

This made me laugh out loud this morning- thanks! :)

Very Nice! I just put these on my "dream list" of things I want, but I call first dip on these when you sell them just in case.

I hate to say this but I think the BC dampers with 10k springs is going to be pretty stiff, I don't think you'll get much relief over the RA's. I hope I'm wrong, let us know.

The NSX kit was originally 10/12, but after customer feedback on both ride quality and balance, BC changed it to 10/10. Everyone has been happy with the ride, at least that I could find. The damper uses a big (46mm) piston, so small undulations should be smoothed out pretty well.

I am drooling over those KW's.

Small correction - I saw that in their marketing info too, but 46mm (1.8 inches) is their shock body and not the piston diameter. Piston diameter is probably around 15-18mm.

Would piston diameter really be that small?

On my dampers/coilovers i'm at an inner cylinder diameter of 50mm and outer cylinder diameter 60mm. Which makes for a shock wall of 5mm in thickness and probably just shy of a <50mm piston (accounting for seals and such), yes?
