Hey everyone...........Steven (AKA Garage Queen Master) has offered to host dinner/poker game for everyone after the drive at his place in Sunnyvale. Everyone on the drive is welcome and for those that can't make the drive you can still attend the dinner. Steven will cook us up something and if it's not enough or bad we can order some pizzas. Anyone who wants to stick around for some poker is welcome as well.

Steven needs a head count so after your name say "dinner and Drive" or just dinner or just drive. Steven can provide his address by PM to those that say they will attend.

Great drive. I did the same drive with friends in July. Had to pay $10 at the gate as we didn't have rock star status like Roger:wink:

Nice suggestion on Cassanova. I was originally thinking something more casual but if the group wants to go High Society I'm in. Anyone else want to second Cassanova or offer up another lunch suggestion?

I took this pic of an MC12 Corsa in front of Cassanova last time I was in Carmel. Not a bad choice to drive to lunch if the Bentley is in the shop I suppose. I think our NSXs can look just as good parked out front. :smile:

Good idea Dennis. Lets meet/re-group at the Del Monte Shopping Center just off highway 1 and just down the road from the 17 Mile entrance. Take the Soledad/Munras exit off Highway 1, make a right on Munras and then a right into the shopping center. There is a Starbucks we can park in front of, re-group, get a coffee use the bathroom and then head out to 17-Mile.

OK we are getting close to the day. Looks like we have maybe 16 ~ 20 NSXs and the weather says 73 degrees and partly cloudy so I think its going to be a beautiful day.

As mentioned we will gather in the morning at the Bay 101 Casino at 1801 Bering Dr. in San Jose @ `7:30 and then head out at 8am. From there we will be on 880 for a quick minute and over to highway 101 south past Morgan Hill, Gilroy (smell that garlic) over into San Juan Bautista where we will catch the 156/101 over into Castroville and onto Highway 1 south where we can enjoy the morning sea air and views. We will take the Soledad/Munras exit turning right onto Munras and then the first right into the Del Monte Shopping Center where we will take a break, use the facilities, get some coffee at Starbucks and wait for those meeting us in Monterey (FransSpaYellow97). Expected elapsed time approx. 1 hour so arriving at the shopping center at 9~9:30.

At about 10 we can head over to the beginning of 17-Mile drive. I figure we will be out there for a good 2 hours enjoying the view, cruising and taking some sweet pics. After that we will head over to Ocean Ave on Carmel find some parking and have lunch at Cassanova's (didn't get a second on that but didnt hear any objections either).

So maybe lunch from 1 ~ 2:30 and then we head out to Santa Cruz via highway 1 and over 17 back into the Bay Area ~ 4/4:30.

Those that are going to Steven's should show up around 6 for dinner and poker.
