Fixed mounts for Recaro Pole Position seats?

I plan on installing a set of Recaro Pole Position seats I recently picked up in the NSX and am looking for a set of fixed mounts. I know that Recaro makes a set of Aluminum side mounts but is this designed to work in conjunction with their sliding rails or can they mount directly to the floor? If this is the case does anyone manufacture a set of fixed mounts specifically for the NSX?

Thanks for the response. I like the SOS rails but im actually looking for a set of fixed(non-sliding) rails for the car.

Fixed are not so great, you can never adjust while driving. May cause fatigue same leg position all the time....like on a trip.:smile:

I definitely agree there can be pitfalls to fixed seat mounts. However, I plan on tracking the car and use the car on the street relatively little nowadays(approx. 20 miles a month) so the weight savings would be nice.

the slider gos inbetween the bracket(mounts to the car) and the side mounts)mounts to the seat)


so you are just connecting the side mount to the bracket instead of adding a slider inbetween



i know all the little things add up in weight savings but sliders arent very heavy, but more power to ya for going the extra mile in persuit of function
