It seems their web site is down. Probably nothing. Surely they're selling the heck out of their controllers. Right?

I nearly bought one many months ago before finding Gar Willis and the Egor products, which I promptly ordered but never received. Now I'm very sad to say that Gar closed up shop as of Jan. 6th due to various problems complicated by health issues. There is no doubt in my mind that his products were by far the best available for anything like a reasonable price. My best wishes to Gar in difficult times.

So if one other option doesn't pan out quickly I guess I'll own the FJO after all as it is the only other one with the accuracy I want at a reasonable price. Anyone have a recommendation on which options are worth having? I would use in with the AEM which has plenty of logging options, but I would also use it with other cars.

Hi Steve - If you do not own a Palm Pilot or other similar device and you want a continuous display of O2 in the cabin, the display is a nice option. In my opinion, the more expensive monitor is not necessary.

Using double-sided tape, I mounted the display under the right knee bolster against the center console. This places it immediately right of where your keys hang down. Since I have only a car key and house key on my key ring, this is not an issue for me. One may think that this is an akward placement for the display; however, I can see the numbers just fine by looking through the "spokes" of the steering wheel. The display comes in either green or red numbers.

No need to purchase the inductive RPM pick-up. There is a tach service connection on the right side of the engine bay. Plug the green wire from the controller into this connection.

I mounted the controller against the right side bulkhead of the engine bay. There are two threaded holes that are a perfect fit. Mine is a 95 so it has no engine bay air cooling fan. This option will not work for cars that have the fan; however, the fan is not needed. Mounting the controller in this location allows the leads to run down to the exhaust pipes in such a manner that there is enough slack to test either set of cylinder banks for O2 readings.

Taking my sweet time, installation was three hours - one hour for the controller and two hours R&R interior panels to run the wires to the display.

You can achieve in-cabin monitoring and data logging with the EMS when used with the TechEdge product (http://www.techedge.com.au/).

Cheers,
