fog lights

My fog lights turn on when I start up the engine, but once I turn on the headlights the fog lights just shut off automatically, is it normal? Is there a switch for the fog lights?

These are not fog lights, but the daytime running lights that are stock on the Canadian NSX's. This is normal and there is no switch. The idea (if you believe in DRL's) is that they make the car more visible in daylight when the headlights are off.
