I think we all missed out on an excellent opportunity to get a great MP3 player.
This http://www.phatnoise.com/ place was selling MP3 players that would work with your OEM head unit. You controlled it like a cd changer. It looks like they have now sold it to Kenwood. I can only hope Kenwood continues with the OEM support, I doubt it though.Here is the link to the same product but now with the Kenwood name.

I tried to buy one awhile back but they were not selling them yet. I guess they had some beta users but never contacted me to purchase a production unit. I got tired of waiting and just built a unit from an old portable computer.
