front license plate bracket ?

Well, after driving sportscars of various types for the past 20 years without running front license plates ( in NY), today I was issued a ticket for such for the first time with my NSX. While it is a law in NY, I've been stopped on numerous occasions in the past and was never given a ticket . I was told by several state troopers that it wasn't an issue if I had the second plate with me in the car. Anyway--is there a front plate bracket made for the NSX? I noticed a couple of holes inside the grill where some sort of bracket could be bolted to. Does anyone have one which he/she'd want to part with?

There is an (ugly) OEM mount.

Dali and SoS both have more recessed mounting brackets for sale;
you could make one pretty easily from sheet metal as well.

After getting my first ticket last year in NYC for no front plate, I put on the SOS "hideaway" plate and have been "legal" ever since.

I did mine with two $.20 angle brackets from the hardware store. You can almost see it here:

I have a oem front bracket from my '95 w/18K in excellent condition, let me know if you are still looking....Jim

You can use angle brackets from hardware store. If you want to go cheap. Thats what I used. :smile:

Sorry to hear that. OEM Front License Bracket Part#71105-SLO-A01. This is for a 2004 not sure if it's the same for pre 2002?
