Fuel Pump Problems: NEED HELP!

I'm frustrated. I just replaced my fuel pump, which by the way was a real pain in the anus. Today my car turned off in the middle of accelerating. Now when I switch on the alternator I don't even hear the fuel pump turn on. Could someone please tell me what the problem might be?

How do you switch on the alternator? Sounds like maybe a main relay.

BTW Jerry at Greenlight Auto in Kearney Mesa is a very knowledgeable NSX tech who comes highly recommended. If you can't diagnose it, then Jerry is your man.

What I really meant to say was, when I turned the key to the on postion I didn't hear the fuel pump. However, I did get in contact with Jerry. He thinks that it's possibly the main relay like you said. Thank you very much!:smile:
