Just fyi.. I called Comcast the other day politely asking them to extend the promotion I was under, and they said No..

I said, politely, "Ok, I'd like to cancel my Internet Service and go with Verizon FIOS." At this point the rep sounded really nervous, said she'll talk to her manager and get back to me..

A couple of minutes later, they offered me upgraded, "12 mbps" internet + Cable TV for < $70.00/$60sh total for 12 months.

Offered phone service in addition for < $100 but I resisted for the time being.

Competition is a great thing.

So you are paying $130 or $60-70ish for internet and cable combined? Are you saying that all 3 services would be less than $100? I'm just a little confused by the word order.

If you are able to get all 3 services along with 12 mbps for under $100... that is a good deal.
