Was bored yesterday night, so I decided to go for a cruise, nowhere in particular just towards the beach. Upon exiting the freeway, I saw some skylights so I decided to check out what was going on. It was a night club. I pulled up to the front and asked the valet guys what was dresscode for the evening, as I was wearing jeans and sneakers. The valet guy went to talk to one of the gentleman standing in front of the line who lets the people in. He pointed me out. The gentleman in the suit came up to me and told me I was OK to go in event though the event had an upscale formal dresscode. (don't get me wrong, I was still fly   )

I was asked to park the NSX right in front! w/ security standby might I add. I went straight to front of the line and didn't have to pay the cover charge to get in club. One of the promoters also told me that if I had any of my "peoples" coming they would get special treatment as well. I felt like a celeb last night thanks the my NSX!!!

I didn't stay long, as the thought of getting in my NSX and doing some spirited driving off the coast at night(as I originally planned) was more appealing than the groupie women backing their ass on my crotch at the bar cause they saw how I entered the spot. (would of been interesting though)

What a perfect night. I LOVE MY NSX!!!! well not that perfect,....I bottomed out pretty bad at the gas station

How did you guys enjoy you NSX this weekend?

Which clubs is this? Maybe I'll go with you next time.

Actually, I had the worse day Friday. I lost a real estate deal, got a flat tire, and on the drive to the shop, I got pooped on by not one, but freakin' a flock of birds...

But on a good note, I'm in Vegas right now. I just got home from winning a few at the craps table. hehe

I took my NSX out last night as well. Needed a drive to clear my thoughts. My area doesn't begin to compare to SoCal but I'm still treated like a celeb when I'm in it.
So I'm sitting at a light watching the sun slowly sink into the trees when some brainiac in a chevy cavalier yells...."should'a bought a Ferrari".
Makes me think that Darwin was on to something with this evolution thing.

That guy probably can't scrape up enough money to fix his s--tbox cavalier let alone a Ferrari.

Thats awesome!!! My girlfriend and I went to a local nightclub, they had one spot out front blocked off with velvet ropes. Needless to say we got the spot, no line, no cover for me and all my "Peeps". The NSX does come in very handy on and off the track. Sometimes just as much fun off the track then on....

Dang, that is V.I.P. treatment. I always take my daily driver out...don't like to let Valets get their hands on my NSX.

Last night was a family night. Time with wife and kids. During the day I was at the Hooters' meets. I think my NSX got a lot of love from the Hooter girls. Yes, wife knows I was at Hooters. Pics are near the end of the thread.

This past weekend I entered my NSX into a car show. My work hosted a company picnic with many special activities/events for the employees. One being a car show so I entered. The show wasn’t real big, just about 45 cars (old and new) but figured what the heck, why not!! After a fun and relaxing day, it turns out I won best of show!! I love my NSX!!

Malibu is not a troll. He is the expert when it comes to I.C.E. (in car entertainment) for the NSX in the DIY forum. Perhaps his location has more to do with the NSX not getting "wows".

As for my one time taking the NSX to a lounge, I got front row parking along with the usual SL's, F-cars. I hate going out to a lounge/club in that car due to the things associated with it (dark, drunk drivers afterwards, crappy roads to get there, etc...)

You seem to talk smack about the NSX in every thread I read....Troll??

Haha, I have a 95 dude and I'm not troll. :) Trust me, you pull up to the nicer clubs here in an NSX and you will not get the same respect as the other cars there. Let's see, I went to Tentation a few months ago and there was an Enzo, Murcielago Spyder, pimped out Bentley Arnage in front of me, not even parked yet. They didn't even care about the NSX and there are much higher end clubs than Tentation. The clubbers here can tell ya. :) Funny thing was, we spent more than those guys. Cabana and 4 bottles of Stolichnaya Elit and some other vodkas set us back over 3k for the night. Cheapskate rich guys...

Bradley is a cool guy....he just lives where people can crash their Enzos and blame it on another guy. "It was Dietrich!" ;)

It's sad to see how many people don't know how great the NSX is. I had some guy the other day saying yeah the NSX is a poor man's Ferrari.... The NSX was way better than any regular Ferrari back then before the 360 came out.

Sorry this post will be rambling, but so was the day.
OK, so Sunday my girl and I hit the road, heading from Houston to Galveston with no set plan but to cruise the seawall in the silver NSX. On 45 heading South we played tag with a Black Carerra(I’m up on my NSX-lore but not the Porsche. All I know is that it said “4S” on the back and was an automatic convertible because the driver decided to give us a show in slow traffic), which, according to the paper plates, the owner had just picked up the day before; this went on 15 miles or so until he turned off somewhere before NASA Road 1.
We rolled into Galveston, hung a right at the Gulf of Mexico and cruised with the car open to the sea breeze. Five miles down is the State Park, all sand, sun, seagulls and string bikinis, which is where we parked to down a few cool ones and take it in.
Later, back in town, we hit the tourist shops built out over the water. It was nice except for some dude hitting on my GF every time my back was turned.
We took the “Duck” tour, which uses an amphibious craft to show you not only the town but also you go for a short cruise in the bayou. We did the whole hand-in-hand on the beach thing.
My girl felt like posing, so as the sun set (behind us, over the land) I got a few shots of she and the car with the ocean as a backdrop. And as we drove back home in the dark, I thought that except for the Texas heat and the dudes coveting my girl and car, it was a good day. As an added bonus, I got a little closer to coming to terms with my doggone automatic transmission. Point 1: What the heck. I’m never going to drag the car, or track it, and Point 2: Since there’s no shifting, the right hand need never stray from the passenger’s impossibly smooth thigh.

There exists a club in SoCal where NSX ownership = free admission and lap dances? Am I the only one that wants to know where the heck this is?

You just made it cool to own an auto NSX.

I'm glad to hear some of you guys had a great weekend w/ your NSXs'. I guess the timing, people, and my swagger was all in tune. I had no plans intentionally, but my spontaneous bold decisions favored good fortune that night.

There was definately the NSX factor. But I agree with Bradley, the NSX doesn't get much as much 'pull' as modern ferraris and lambos and other high end exotics when it comes to the night life club scene. Which makes my experience alot more rewarding:biggrin:

It was Club Vegas in Costa Mesa @ the end the 55 south fwy.

I wouldn't want girls grinding on me either......... you must not have felt in the mood to impose your will on those chicks. They were gold diggers I take it? Skanks? Fatgly?

Wow...I think those are the first really nice looking Hooter's girls I've seen. FYI, don't go to Hooter's in Ohio.
