Yes, of course - let's post the Road and Track numbers, since they were so much SLOWER than all the other magazines that appeared at the same time.

We wouldn't want to refer anyone to ALL the numbers, like the ones in the FAQ, to show what NSX performance really is, now would we?

Didn't the recent C&D test video clock it at 4.5 0-60?

Yes, but those numbers were for a '97+ car, which of course had the 3.2-liter engine and the six-speed transmission. The original '91 coupe usually tested around 5.2 to 5.4 seconds.

interesting multi-car comparo (MT, June-03)

Interestng multi-car test in the current Motor Trend (June 2003).

Car / 0-60 sec / qtr-mile sec / top speed mph

Mosler MT900 / 3.13 / 11.02 / 165
Murcielago / 3.51 / 11.72 / 193
Viper SRT-10 / 3.94 / 11.77 / 182
Ferrari 575M / 4.15 / 12.26 / 182
Benz CL55 AMG / 4.27 / 12.38 / 187
Corvette C5-Z06 / 4.29 / 12.44 / 174
Lancer Evo / 4.59 / 13.08 / 156
Mustang SVT Cobra / 4.82 / 13.01 / 159
Jaguar XKR / 5.21 / 13.43 / 161

- Lancer Evolution ($30K) is one of the "bang for the buck" leaders
- Benz CL55 (large 4300 lb coupe) out-accelerates the Corvette Z06 (3100 lb) in several respects

So you resurrected a thread that's a year and a half old, only so that you could post a reply that has nothing to do with the topic being discussed?
