Has anyone used any of their products. Did some reading on 6 speedonline, their productssound inpressive and alot more easier to use than the Zaino products. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks, Frank

Frank, I wish I had some real answers for you, but I will say this, I've talked for a few hours with Rich the owner and he has really impressed me with his level and understanding of the chemistry behind it all and seems he's been developing his Gloss It line for at least the last 10 years and just now coming out publicly with it all as it has just taken him that many years of tweeking and trial and error to perfect what he wanted in his line.

I don't know first hand that it's better then Zaino, but I am going to try a his line out and see what happens. Hard to beat the durability of Zaino, but he told me he can match the durability of Zaino as well as produce a better looking finish when comparing side by side Z2 and his Gloss It sealant?? Says he has the durability of Zaino but with the glassy wet look of a polymer sealant as well as the depth and warmth of a carnuaba..... sounds too good to be true if you ask me, I can't wait to try them out.

I do know a highly respected and known DFW detailer who was once a Zaino exclusive detailer who has switched over to the Gloss It line, but that doesn't mean anything to me, seeing is believing.

Don't know if this info helps or not,
Josh

Josh, thanks for the info. Trying to find a detailer in NJ that uses gloss it products. Found a couple of Zaino detailers. I received my car back last Friday from the body shop, so not sure how long to wait until the exterior can be detailed. Thanks, Frank

I hope you don't mind me asking, but why does it matter if the detailer uses Gloss It??

I know of many highly skilled detailers that do perfect work and can blow your mind with there abilities to correct and perfect paint and most have never heard of Gloss It.

Gloss It is still pretty new so not many of us know of it yet, I still haven't gotten my hands on any.

You should call Rich the owner or contact there website and ask if they have a detailer in your state somewhere?

The best thing to do is ask the shop who painted your car so you don't void their warranty.
They should also be able to recommend products that will be safe to use on their new paint until it reaches a full cure.

Joe, my body shop guy said to go home and wax the car. I am going to hold out and wait three months just to be safe. Thomas of Reds painted the car in pieces and had a charge going through the parts, and baked them, but I would feel alot better waiting and letting the paint cure.

Also, found a detailer that uses the glossit products. Can't wait to have the car proffesionally detailed. Frank

Frank,

Pics please. I can't wait to see your car in person. Why are you detailing it right after you had it painted? Could I see the car before you but the clear plastic over it? I'll come over as I know you don't want to drive it yet. I have seen some of these clear bra applications recently and they really detract from the look of the car and the gloss of the real paint job.

The 3M looked the best but I understand it will yellow over time and on your pearl white paint job that would be horrible. The others showed so much orange peal that it made the car look horrible. I am very curious to see your car before clear bra and after clear bra.

If it's been baked, then it is already cured before they even put the panels back on the car.

You should be good to wax or seal the paint immediately.

Frank:
if you are still looking for a gloss it detailer I have one in bergen county.
He has done 3 of my cars with gloss it and the results are spectacular! i have a 2001 m5 that he detailed all the fine scratches out (carbon black color) using gloss it products- much better than zaino, zymol and P21 all of which I have used in the past. pm me for his # etc.
