Big disappointment for the new GM vehicles Who ever own them better bring back to the dealer and becareful while driving, you might get on fire.

It involves the 2008 Buick Enclave, 2006-2008 Buick Lucerne, 2006-2008 Cadillac DTS, versions of the 2007-2008 Cadillac Escalade, 2007-2008 Chevrolet Avalanche, Silverado, Tahoe and Suburban, 2007-2008 GMC Acadia, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL, 2006-2008 Hummer H2 and 2007-2008 Saturn Outlook.

That would be horrible b/c Honda would assume GMs problems. We wouldn't live long enough to even begin to see improvements and Honda's reputation would suffer.

i think we would see improvements within 5 years, honda with its reputation for safety, reliability, and ease of function combined with gm's diesel tech would be the future of auto's. biodiesel, and hybrid biodisel anybody?:smile:

Even Honda couldn't do much to fix the problems. Too much of an American car maker's budget goes into union expenses to leave anything significant towards R&D or quality control.

GM has around 20 billion left in cash and loses around 1-3 billion a month.
Odds are they won't be around in a year or two. My guess is TaTa Motors buys them.

BTW, Nobody would be dumb enough to buy GM and the US Govt. isn't going to let it fail.

FWIW all my honda's fell apart too
