Does anyone know a good paint shop in Atlanta? I want to get the top of my 91 painted to match the body. I took it somewhere today to get a quote but I wasn't very confident after talking to them about it.

Thanks for your help!

When I was hit by a woman making a left hand turn from the right lane  , I took my car to Honda Carland on the recommendation of several people here on Prime. I was thoroughly impressed with the job they did and would recommend you give them a shot. Good luck.

Thanks for the response! I am familiar with that dealership and will go by there to talk to them.

We had our SEMA truck painted at Gary's Body Shop. It is a hole in the wall shop in the ghetto off of Covington Highway. They have no proper equipment, and their place looks like a dump, but they came highly recomended. We paid $8K for our custom paint job and were very pleased with the results. Walking into the office the walls are covered with magazine pictures of vehicles they've done.

The catch is that they only do high end custom work. I don't know if they'd even be interested in a simple color change on a roof. If you go there, tell them that Dave from Lund sent you.

I've also had some paint work done at Honda Carland, Roswell.

They acurately reproduce the original finish, exactly according to Honda specs. It is like OE factory work. I have also seen several other NSXs that received work there, and the results were consistently perfect. One downside: expect to pay dealer price!

... you can get it done right, or done cheaply, but not both!

And, I should add, if you prefer a private shop, not dealer, the leading NSX body/paint work expert in the northern suburbs is Import maintenance and collision, Marietta. The proprieter is an NSX owner and member of this community!
