Got a good deal on S-03’s this past weekend!

I ended up going to Costco because I have had good results from them in the past. I went there last weekend to get the extra $60 off on a set of tires promotion they were having. They didn’t have them in stock but ordered them for me. The price they quoted me over the phone for the 225/45-16 was $207.99 and for the 255/40/17 was $247.99 less $60 for the set bringing them to $192.99/each for the fronts and $232.99/each for the rears.

When I went this Saturday to have them installed, they charged me $191.99 for the fronts and $231.99 for the rears. Then they took the $60 off for the set making the cost $176.99 for the fronts and $216.99 for the rears. $10 each to mount and balance, a few bucks to dispose of the old tires. All this includes the road hazard warranty. Hard to beat and they did not scratch the rims!

It always feels good to get a deal.....especially when our tire costs are way more then the average car. Now I'll know what deals to look for next time I'm in the market!!

From tire rack,

Front: 225/45YR16
Serv. Desc: 89Y
Price: $185

Rear: 255/40YR17
Serv. Desc: 94Y
Price: $225

I'd say you ended up with a great deal! And you got road hazard! Damn... its a steal...

Yeah, if I can find 265/35 18's of the S03 for less than $250 mounted I may have to spring for a membership. Is it really true that Costco will only mount oem rims? I think someone mentioned that earlier.

if the tire becomes damaged and it is unrepairable they will give you the price of the new tires for the price of the percentage left on the old tire. basically if you used 50% of the tread you get a new tire at 50% off or if u used 40% then you pay for 40% of the new tire. i had costco replace a tire on my fathers truck and thats how they did it.
