Hi all, I just purchased a bone stock 1995 Nsx T and I am shopping for a set of coilover for the car but I don’t see too many review of the h&r coilover cup kit here, is there a reason why?

My nsx will be predominantly used for casual spirited driving, and If you have them on your car, can you share your thoughts, thank you.

KW V3 are the way to go. If you going to go coilover. This is what most people are going with unless they are looking for a full race setup.

If you’re just looking for a lower look a spring swap will do just fine.

I think that the cup kit probably came out sometime between the Koni/Bilstein strut matched with another spring (Dali, H&R, etc) and the advent of the coilover option becoming cheaper.

The BC racing kit for example seems wholly competent with full adjustability and the option of changing spring rates for about the same cost as the cup kit. Honcho did a great review of them as noted below:

what is your budget for suspension?

If your car isn’t seeing the track there’s zero reason to buy kwv3 unless you like spending more money. BC and fortune make a great budget friendly set up provided you don’t go too stiff on spring rates.

whatever you do make sure the spring rates/ ride height are within the performance parameters of the damper..

I have just got the kw v3 installed and ride quality is so much more improved and precise to stock imho. I have about 1 finger gap front and rear and now the front lip is 4” off the ground, I think height stance is perfect now. Also reupholster my seats and door cards. So happy, thought I share my experience here.
