West coast!
I was reading this car mag and the author says this is one of the BEST roads in the WORLD to drive on!

Up 5 north to Redding and heading westward on Hwy 36?

I'm going to do some research since next time I head to Oregon going to try this road. It's a bit far for just a drive from SJ though since it's at least 3 hours to Redding I think....

Just curious if any of you diehard guys have drove that route? :)

If you dig these kind of drives, you've got to go on the Mono Lake/Bishop Run posted on Prime for June 7-8. I guarantee it's the most spectacular drive you'll ever have in your NSX. Can't wait to see your WHITE NSX!! Yes - No

I was just up there in February. The road is a good drive, but unless you are going that way, I think you will find other roads in the bay area that are just as much fun. Some of the views are spectacular though. A lot of narrow rough road.

My suggestion would be to go up for a weekend and do the B&B thing. Take a drive through Ferndale and out around the lost coast down through Petrolia and back up through the Redwood preserve. The road gets a little rough in spots but nothing the 'X can not handle.

You can go up on 36 and back down on 299 through Redding. 299 is a much nicer road but gets more traffic.

LOL thanks for the info, I will let you know once I check with the "boss" :)

Appreciate the other road suggestions too, can't wait to let her stretch her legs but first have to get the clear bra done.

I drove to Ferndale via 36 a couple of years ago and it is spectacular for sure. Not necessarily the most scenic drive I've ever been on (but very nice), but definitely a great drive for any sports car buff.
