Has anyone pin striped their NSX

I have a yellow NSX. Pin striping can be a nice accent on other cars. I was wondering about doing it to my NSX. What do you think? Flames are welcome. If you think i'm out of my head.. tell me

Please don't do that! The lines of this car absolutely do not call for pin stripes.

No flames here Mike, but did you ever notice how there is almost no trim anywhere on the NSX? I think this is one of the major styling features of the car - that it's beautiful shape is not broken up by any moldings etc... Pinstriping, in my opinion, will just serve to visually "break-up" the unified look the NSX has.

Don't do it.

P.S. I think it was very clever of you to talk about pinstipes and then welcome flames from forum members (don't most cars with flames also have pinstripes?)

When I found my 95, the previous owner had painted gold pinstriping on it. I absolutely, positively required the dealer to find a way to have it removed before I took delivery, and they had their detailer take it off. Thank goodness after all that gold accenting was taken off that the car's original paint was still fine.

My father-in-law seriously tried to talk me into door edge guards on my '97 !!!

Please post pictures of your pinstriped, door edge guarded car.

Have you thought about curb feelers? They can really save the finish on those nice chrome wheels....

damn: now you got me thinking again... some good graphics... door edge guards.. and curb feelers up front... and some undercarriage neon... I could make it look like a catfish floating on a violet pool...
