sorry in advance, but i'm not a really big expert on any of the tech expert on HOW or WHY a computer does what it does.
but i've noticed lately (and its been getting worse) that my computer isn't liking me running files on photoshop lately. i have a fairly fast computer, with 2 gigs of ram. and even in the past, i've never had my computer BOG down even with memory intensive files.
but lately, specially if the file has a lot of texts, PHOTOSHOP seems to be sucking my MEMORY use clean. everything lags (in PS), and i can't even save file (i get a warning dialog that says: NOT enough RAM to complete operation). i check the window task manager, and it says that everything looks okay, but the memory being used on PS is almost 1.78 GIG of RAM~!!??!?!?! i know there's NO WAY these files can be this labor intensive, as the files are only like 60-80 megs each TOPS~!!!
can someone please help?!?!?
i have a file im working on and cant even save it, and afraid to walk away from my commputer. :frown:
thanks in advanced!
