Good day to you ladies and gents. I just recently purchased these wheels, for my 1996 NSX

http://www.nsxprime.com/forums/showthread.php?t=107276&highlight=wheels

He sent me spacers, in the front I have vibrations when I'm above 40+

However the right wheel in the back is grinding every rotation somehow. A guy I work with stood outside the car and said it sounds kind of like a spring or something :frown:

Does anyone know what this could be?

Thanks for looking, and any help is greatly appreciated

Mike is running HP evo wheels, 18 fronts 19 rears (guessing 18x8, 19x9.5 or 19x10...believe it's a 275 rear).

Anyone know the offset of these wheels, AND does anyone know the hub bore for the nsx? Bigger spacers are probably in his near future, and would prefer he gets hubcentric rings to decrease his changes of the dreaded shimmy.

let's help him out!

Yes, you will need the hubcentric wheel rings. That should reduce/eliminate the vibration.

As for the spacers, I've heard that you probably need to run them all the way around. That grinding is probably the sound of the brake caliper rubbing/hitting the back of the wheel. Pull the wheel off and look at the back to see if it's rubbing.

Thanks Hapa! I originally wanted to buy your wheels, however was too late.

I took my car to Source's shop and the lugnuts were not tight enough...actually...

the lugnuts were taken off by just his fingertips :frown: So that was why it was making a grinding noise.

Ouch:eek: That could've been a rude awakening. FWIW, for the money, those are some nice looking wheels.

Ummm yeah, especially for lunch, when I had Chinese, I open the fortune cookie that reads..."You'll have a life altering experience"

All before I took a 35 minute drive to Source's Shop
