I have done several searches with no success. Why is the throttle pedal so much harder to depress than the ones on most other cars? Can anything be done to lighten it? ('97 with manual transmission)
The throttle system is "Drive by Wire" in your car. Should be effortles, there is no cable to bind, etc. You should check to see if the return spring is set correctly, or something is binding. I do not beleive there is actual "adjustment", but frankly, never had this question asked of me.
