Highcroft or Lowes LMP2 Replica?

So my 3 and half year old daughter and I sat down on the couch and watched the race today on TV. During the race where Tony Kanaan was overtaking someone in the corkscrew, she says to me, "Daddy I want a race car. I want that race car for christmas." (Along with the princess skateboard, green, purple and blue presents, etc) So I've been looking and I've found the r10, P spyder, Panoz, Compuware, F cars, flying lizard in 1/18 scale and 1/43 but absolutely no Acura ARX cars at all. Any leads?

I've looked as well and have seen nada. SpeedGear has some Highcroft Patron gear but no scale models. Ewacar will have them as soon as they come available.

Acura gets no love.:frown:

Hopefully there will be something before christmas. Trying to find a "princess skateboard" is hard enough work!

i was just watching "Wind Tunnel" on speed tv and they show car models from all makes and manufacturers right before they cut to commercials, and i saw what looked to be a die cast acura ALMS car. i didn't notice enough to see which sponsored car it was, but it unmistakably the blue of acura (i am thinking it was either the lowes or panasonic car) i'm not sure if you could contact them asking, but this is just an assurance that they do exist in some form and capacity.

there also seemed to be a bunch of very specific alms cars in the shot, including a few porsche gt3 models and an aston martin db9r.

good luck on your hunt, and if you do find something, let us know where you found it, as i would love to get my hands on one too.

Yeah, that was a 1/32 slot car. I'd definitely love to find a 1/18 scale. It's kinda crappy though, my 3 year old asks for one. So I'm going to get her one for christmas but I probably wont even let her play with it........ whats wrong with me???? lol
