Unbelieveably exciting. Never thought the game would turn out like that! Go Giants!

I'm an AFC fan but secretly was pulling for Manning to win. Once the Pats threw the challenge flag out for a ruling for 12 men on the field violation - I started cheering for the Giants!

Seriously - I thought that move showed little class. There's something to be said for winning with style and that is just what happened on Super Bowl Sunday. Best Super Bowl I can recall for many years.

18-1

hahahahaha!!!! perfect!!

What a great game!! The 2nd and 3rd quarters were boring. I was rooting for the giants. Mainly because they were the underdog and absolutely nobody gave them a chance.

The best part of the game was when my wife asked: Why are they playing England, those guys don't even look english. It's the 1st time she ever sat and watched a game. LOL.

I know, its crazy. 18-1:biggrin:

I'm not a football fan at all. I know, I know, I'm probably the only red blooded American male that doesn't like football. Normally, if it aint baseball that I hate it.

But my in laws are NYers and my brother in law is a big Giants fan. Couple that with my growing disdain for all teams from New England (God I hate the BoSux:biggrin: ) and I ended up watching the 4th quarter last night.

It was so exciting. I ended up jumping from the couch and screaming when Eli evaded that sack and completed the pass. My wife was dumbfounded and wondering who replaced her husband.

Great, exciting quarter of football.

And considering what little I know about football, I'm glad the team that was caught cheating earlier this year didn't win and didn't end up with a perfect season. There's some poetic justice in there somewhere.

No on to baseball.

GO ANGELS!!!!

Im not a sick crazy football fan myself, there is only one sport I go nuts over and thats Baseball. But my Dad is a Giants season ticket holder and Football is big in my area:smile:

I too am an AFC fan, but we really didn't have the greater division this year. The games to watch all seemed to be in the NFC- the Packers, Cowboys, Giants- all of them gave a great showing.

I went into this Superbowl Cheering the Giants due to my irrational hatred of the Patriots (I am a Steelers fan). It sure has been profitable...

When I told people I would be cheering the Giants on Sunday, every co-worker and their uncle wanted to place bets with me.

Now I am being taken to Ruth Chris for lunch, and my pocket is full of sucker cash (I won some bets on UFC 81 too)...

Great game.

Philip
