Drive over to my place. It'll be gone in a heart beat. I am always rubbing in San Francisco and mine is stock.

Looks like a nice (not cheap!) lip!

You think???? I cracked the one of the F-car on a speed bump in St. Augistine FL. Cost to replace 5k. :frown:

Like most other 360 owners I am leaving it cracked until I sell the car. If I fix it I will just crack it again.

I have been looking for a lip just like that!! Where did you get it, and how much, please?

Make sure that lip is attached with the fasteners that release if it is given a good hit backwards.... otherwise when it does get torn off it might take half your bumper with it, instant Enzo-style front end:

Good point.........believe it or not I actually have it on with zip ties. I was told this would allow it the ability to flex more for "close encounters of the speed bump kind"........and if it does get sheared off at high speed wont take my front bumper with it.

Errr, I guess it depends on what sort of zip tie you used, but some of those are ridiculously strong. You might want to see what it takes to snap one. Or, better yet, what it takes to snap as many as you have holding the lip on.

The quick-release clips on the oem lip work pretty well. I've knocked mine off a dozen times on curbs and such (yes, I'm a careless idiot).

What kind of lip is it - can't see the pic?

And just look like everyone else?

Your post title suggests your concern about the CF lip's strength and durability.
Just hope you don't park too close to a bumper stop or your NSX will definitely look unique. Besides the looks, how much weight savings are you actually saving for the money:rolleyes: After you go through a few CF spoilers, then the stock poly will make more sense (been there done that). But it's your ride/$$$...

weight saving???....ha ha....if I was concerned about weight savings I wouldnt be running 18/19" TSWs.......lol

I would rather have those than the ones currently on your red (wanna be Type-R boy racer) car LOL...try Volk SF challenge 17/18 (but how would you know right?)

Don't post a question on this forum if you cannot accept some of the responses:rolleyes: .

I have gone through several stages of modifications both for the street and track and was only stating information that I found to be useful. As I stated before, it's your car/your money. Obviously, you are more concerned about bling and worshiping kitty porn.

lol.....lighten up Alice..........

Why doesn't anyone make a lip for the NSX that gives more ground clearance. SOS, Dali, youguys listening????

I give it 2 weeks. :)
Looks good though.

I've got the same lip (already cracked) with another sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. The first one usually goes in about two weeks. The second will last much longer.
