how to delete thread

I recently needed to delete a thread (not a post) and could find no "Delete" option. A moderator had to do the deed for me.

Yeah, I realized later out that Lud had disabled the thread delete function.

That's correct. If you need to have a topic deleted, you need to contact the site administrator.

there's no need to delete a thread. Just rename it to "delete" and it will probably THRIVE!
