I am running for president

Can you explain CHANGE???

What is your position on speed limits?

The size of the police force will be doubled. There will be a separate office created solely for speed enforcement. Those officers who work speed enforcement will only do speed enforcement. Much like a meter maid position. This way it will be cut and dry that traffic enforcement officers can not whine about all the good they do other than writing speeding tickets. Cut and dry they write speed tickets nothing else. This would in fact change the way the general public views those officers who don't write tickets but in fact help the public. This will create the amount of respect officers have been trying to gain for years.

As for the speed limit, it would be raised to reasonable levels to accommodate the new technology found in todays automobiles not the automobiles of 50 years ago when the speed limits were put in place. Residential areas will see no change in speed limits. Those areas will remain at current levels unless of course they were put in place in areas way outside a residential area in the first place. IOW, if there is a 30 MPH zone along a strip of houses as soon as there are no more houses the speed limit goes back to 65 on the way out of the residential area and drop to 30 150 feet into the residential area not a mile before like what is in place now.

A new road construction program will be put in place to build roads like the autobahn between large cities. There will be a yearly subscription fee to use these roads. All car pool lanes will immediately be slated for use as autobahns.

Can you explain CHANGE???

I can't explain it but I guarantee there will be a lot of it.

If you are talking about currency...

All currency will be obsolete. All transactions will take place on a debit card. Anyone caught with cash will be jailed. Pretty cut and dry. No more illegal transactions. No drug deals, no kickbacks, no working under the table, no lying. All transactions will be taxed at a flat 5% tax, no deductions. Income or spending 5% flat tax.

Well ... as long as you're not for permanently busting all limits back down to 55 just to save gas .... like SOME people I could name ....
Send me a sign to put on my front lawn.

55 does not save gas, 55 generates revenue. if a vehicle uses more gas at 65, 75, 85... but gets to the destination sooner then it's a wash, right? right!

I'll be head of your global warming committee. If you run out of funding I can also head your energy policy. I can also handle any mind boggling policy questions since I legislated the plane on a tread mill question.

All I require is a small % of those speeding ticket revenues.

There is no global warming committee until the national debt is paid off. No energy policy until the national debt is paid off. Probably won't be able to get anyone for the positions anyway since there is no way to receive a kickback through currency. Anyone receiving a kickback through other means such as gifts other than currency will be shot.

All speeding ticket revenue will fund road repairs. The funds collected will go into a federal national fund and divided up equally amongst all the UNITED STATES, not the divided states where your budget is funded through how many tickets a state writes. See... "United" means all together. There will be no direct benefit for the state, person, county, LEO, where the ticket was issued. All funds are collected Unitedly and divided the same.

I'm on it.

Poverty will have to fix itself. We won't be handing out money to people who won't work. So either people will have to work their way up out of it or they will die.

Health care will not be supplied to anyone for free. People better either buy health insurance or hope like hell they raised good children to take care of them when they are old. There will be no limit in age to who you can put on your policy. As a middle aged person you can have your adult children or your retired parents on your policy.

Welfare is done. There won't be any more welfare.

Jails will have a lot less criminals in them. No more life sentences. Death penalty will be put in place and made retroactive for any life sentence with out the possibility of parole. Really twisted criminals will be offed on pay per view and ALL the money collected will go to the families of the victims

The judicial system will get a respite through the implementation of cameras. There won't need to be a jury, judge, trial or any type of BS system as the crime will be caught on camera. So there won't be a need for a costly circus act. All the cameras will be paid for through stripping criminals of their assets after they are caught on camera committing a crime.

Gangs/drugs Corruption in politics won't be able to operate as they won't be able to receive money on a debit card through a monitored transaction. How will someone be able to explain a ACH transaction for a kilo of coke?

The budget will be balance through the implementation of the above items plus spend 20% less than all funds collected. Also the 5% flat tax applies to every transaction, so if gm sells a car and then blows the profit on corporate expenses well then they do it after the 5% is collected.

It was meant to be a factious remark toward Obama’s “Change" Campaign   Define Change:confused:
I'm amazed as to how many people accept "Change" as if it is guaranteed to be positive...

"My friends, we live in the greatest nation in the history of the world. I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it... Barack Obama:rolleyes:
