Oeps

I now how you feel now.

It will be like new soon i think

Greetings frank

That sux Ronny.
Looks realy dreadfull. Nasty, more like it.

I would say, make sure you speak to the 'schade-expert' yourself, and get a list with the parts to be replaced, and pricing of these parts, because they have no clue whatsoever about a nsx.

I experienced that last month, resulting in a very low estimate for repair.

Hello

Yes it hurts.

As for my work i daily speak with dealers and body specialist, mostly about things the have done or not have done. SO very heavy discussions mostly is on my daily job list.

I have the original body work map ( in dutch) about the way the NSX is build, wich materials the have used and what you need to do when you have to repare the body.

My bodyshop knows me very well and hass done several jobs for me in all kinds off ways.

My uncle has had a honda dealership for over 20 years, one off his best bodyworkers in his own bodyshop now works at the bodyshop where i bring the car tomorrow.

He already new that all screws and bolds need to be renewed when you take off the panels etc.

The owner off the bodyshop told me allready that he only works with an open calculation.

Makes me sad to see your niuce NSX opened up like that... :(

The insurance will find hard to believe that it will be around 4000 EUR to substitute the parts!!! NSX are expensive to fix!

BTW what is a peaugeot boxter?

In the first picture it looks like you have a nail in the tire. :frown:

Hello gheba

The insurance man had never calculated an NSX, so he exepted my advise to work with an "open" calculation.

SOrry i called that french "thing" a boxter, but i meant boxer.

Hello DOCl

Thanks for your great eye. This wheel i have mounted is a Honda shuttle wheel, i have mounted this wheel because the original one has to be sprayed again, some little dents on it, and this was the only way that the car could role.

The thing in the tire is a little stone, i haved looked for it, but thanks anyway.

Hi Ronny,

Impressive artwork, thx. Was it hard to get these B-pillars off? I've tried it once but I found it very hard to remove the top screw, so I gave it up.

Regards,
Thomas

Hello Thomas

You have to remove the complete innerpanel from your b pillar and behind this pillar you have to remove 2 bolts.

I have all the workshop manuals at home so that was not the diffecult to find this out.

I seems if your bodyshop has the incentive to give your NSX a really good job. She'll even look better afterwards and I think you'll forget very soon what happened. :)

The bodyshop i go to is in my village its only 1 kilometer from my house. The body workers are very big specialist. They also do special paint on motorcycles, restore classic cars. etc So she is in good hands.

Ronny,

It seems everthing will turn out OK for your Imola orange lady.

P.S.: While you have the fender off, think of a nice modd: cantrell intake system. Great sound improvement!

See you soon.

PS: What do you mean ... Switzerland. You're going there soon?

Hello Ronny,

I am sorry to read about your accident. I now how it feels to be the subject of a little NSX misfortune. However, it seems that your NSX will be in perfect shape again very soon. Nevertheless, good luck on your NSX repair

Hi Maarten,

When will your NSX be on the road again?

Hello Maarten and MvM

I have worked on the car untill this our ( 1.45 at night) and she is ready!!

I am very glad that she is better than before, and absolut full credit to our bodyshop because the paint is 100% . There is no difference between the new painted and the old original paint.

SOrry for the bad pictures bud at this time taking pictures outside would be worser.

Glad to see she is back looking good again :)

She looks really nice, even better than before. :) I think that all the anger went away. Good to know she's back. :)

I still wait for the next car to crash into my left fender which would give me the opportunity to do the same. :D

what year is your car?...did you put an older style exhaust on the car?..or did the europe version NSX-T come stock with the older style exhaust?....JZ

Congratulations, Ronny
I am glad to see that it turned out well in the end.
