I have a hole in my clear coat on my silver 02 Camry...how to fix it?

I got some bird poop on the hood of my silver 02 Camry. Well...I could not get it out. Now the paint and clear coat have chipped off. The area is about as big as a dime or nickel.

1-How do I make sure that it does not get worse?
2-Is there any type of clear coat "patch" that I could use? I want the clear coat to be resealed.
3-I have some touch up paint...would that help?

I don't recommend using the touch up paint because the clear coat is "clear".

I would try using some wax or polish around the area first. Have you tried "Finish First" polish before? It's a good product and I think it should help.

So John do you still have your NSX or you've sold it?
