-Could never deside on new rims and tyres combo. (without sacrifice)
-Always likes the handling of the stock car.
-Didn't like heavy wheels and rims packages.
-Didn't want to mess with the stock feeling.
-Wanted a cheap and good looking upgrade.

Here is the result. A nice "de-bling" job, with stock 91 wheels and tyres using a custom powder coating color.
I love the new look *(although the picture does not completely justify the new look.) Dark gunmetal color makes the rims look more uniform with the tyres, therefore bigger and more aggessive. IMO a nice and cheap upgrade.

A looooong and sweaty Zymol wax job comleted the "de-bling" project.

Hey, lets start a new trend, smaller is better, and function before fashion?
Can't stand the 18-19-20-21 inch rims trend, because I know they hurt performance. NSX is enough bling anyways, why go over the top?

looks pretty nice and clean

too bad you couldnt de-bling a NSX-R wing that i could take off yer hands

Do you live in a kids playground? How awesome to be a little guy in that neighborhood! Slide, yup. Tractor, OK. Sand box, check. Fully operational super car, right here!

You've made some early dreams come true I'll bet!

BTW, I did this about 5 years ago and just love it:

Of course I have the 17/18 as well...it's important to have options.

I think the 15/16 are just too small. The OEM 16/17 or 17/17 look FAR better IMO without any loss in performance.

Personally, I think 17/18 looks the best and you can fit a BBK under it :)

Agree with you on the first one but not on the 2nd
Not all 17" front wheels have anough space for BBKs - some need spacers. And you can also (tight) fit a BBK under a 16" inch stock wheel with 25 mm spacers, which may even give the car a better look (it did in the case of my car of course  )

16/17 route would be a lot more expensive, but yes, I agree - they would be a good choice.

I'm just excited that the new color on the 15/16's look awesome compared to silver.

That's just outside my appartment. My neighbours and kids kept coming by as I was waxing, making nice comments. A good day....

You're right on with your comments. As a kid I lusted over an E-type Jag roadster that a guy in my neighborhood owned. I kept in touch with him over the years and ended up buying that same car about 12 years later.

I am sorry, No matter what color you paint them, they still look like training wheels....The best mod for a NSX visually, is a nice set of later model wheels or aftermarket..They don't have to be 19/20 combo, but must be bigger than the tiny original 15/16 combo!! That's my 03 cents
