Do you mean 9K service

Congrats!!!

Yep.....9K
Hey, I am in San Clemente and have met 2 here from Dana Point,
and another (I think in Mission Viejo)
We should have a 1st annual local get together "if one does not already exist"!
You know how 'gung ho' new guys are....... LOL LOL

Cant wait!
I remember when the NSX was 1st released.
Also remember seeing a Black & Ivory NSX in a store parking lot (back in 1991)
It just sorta stuck with me. (Note to self, get one before I croak)
My personal favorite NSX color combination.
(was 29 back then, 30 lbs later I get one!)
At the Monterey "Italiano Concoroso" (-5 sp.) a couple yrs ago I saw a
few cars in this combination and I was again hooked.
Thing is, this one is very dependable & somewhat affordable.
Another bonus is the owner is a great guy.
He will always be welcome to stop by for a spin!

Wish I'm able to find something similar one of these days...What did you pay for it if you don't mind me asking?.

Thanks
Mike

We have a "monthly" gathering at SCA..check the southwest forums..
and congrats!!

The seller that answered my want add, and sold the car to me for his asking price has backed out.
I cannot express my level of anger and disgust at this point.
Even took my wife to see the car.
Have a signed bill of sale and purchased a set of stock 91 wheels I will eat.
Are all NSX owners like this?
That's (2) now.Is this some type of game I am not aware of?
Have had many fine cars, and have never come across anything like this.
Am used to dealing with honest folks where a hand shake and signed bill of sale actually means something. With all the Corvette bashing that goes on here, NSX owners could sure learn something from them.

Maybe it was just not meant to be.

Thanks for letting me vent.

wow I am sorry to here about the owner backing out. I did not experiance anything like that in my resent purchase but i was also looking at an easier target car. 91/92 50k or so color was not an issue since i like all the colors from those years. Keep on working at and I am sure it will happen for you
GOOD LUCK

I will open up my choice of colors.
And have proven I can pay over 35k in cash for a 91 "twice".
Not sure what the problem is?
Will not post for a while.
Do not have anything very nice to say at this point.
So, I will wait a bit & cool off.
I even asked, are you sure your car is for sale?
Before I looked at it, and explained what had just happened.
Oh, yes its for sale.
Geeez...........................

that sucks.

Sorry to hear, MCM.

There seems to be a special attachment between this particular car and its owners. I am sure once you find the right car, you'll begin to understand. I am comtemplating about putting my car on the market, but it's a hard decision. Everytime I walk by, I can't imagine not seeing the car there.

Good luck in your search. You'll forget these incidents once you get the car, and I think you'll find it's well worth the effort.

Thanks, even the sellers are starting to feel bad.

"I'm really SORRY to hear you lost your Black/Ivory. I know how upset I made you when I backed out of our deal...But, to get hit twice...WHAT A BUMMER!!"

I have had many "special" cars. (probably more than most)
So I have been on both ends of this.
These Cars are no different.

Not the end of the world, lots of them for sale considering how many were built. Will open up color options to Black/Ivory, Silver or white.
