I plan on purchasing new rims soon and I'm going with the below settings, but I'm not sure which offset would be best for me. Can someone chime in and let me know what you recommend for offsets? I'm currently lowered on Tein Flex and don't want any issues with rubbing. Thanks!

RIMS:
Front = 17x7.5 .... 34,39,44,50 for offsets

Rear = 18.9x5 ..... 32,40,44 for offsets

Tires:
Front = 215/40-17

Rear = 265/35-18

I'm curious as well whether all wheels have the same offset for the same car.

if your car is lowered and you want the tire asclose as poss. to the fender without rubbing then the 17x7.5 - 34 and the 18x9.5 - 32 wil work fine - still some clearance if not lowered then 7.5 - 34 still ok but 9.5 - 32 a bit wide

hey Jim this thread helped me out alot.

I'm planning on running 17x8 +37 front with 215 tires and 18x10 +35 rear with 265 and from what I've read in that thread it should be ok.

i think the one main thing you need to worry about it whether or not your rim will clear your calipers. If not then spacers are going to be needed thus further pushing out your wheel.

for your front i think +44 or +50 will sit too far in the fender and not look flushed at all
not sure about the +32 in the rear. i didn't read anyone going that low. But to be safe since your dumped on teins +44 is probably the safe bet all around.

BTW, which rims are you getting?

this guy is running +44 all around with similar rim specs but with 255 tires in the rear instead of 265. Seems to tuck a bit.

9.5 with 32 is in farther than 10 with 35 - the rim is actually narrower so the offset is lower but still doesn't extend out as far

thanks for all your input.I really appreciate it. I think i narrowed it down to

17x7.5 (39 offset) for the front

18X9.5 (40 offset) for the rear

I plan on dumping the car pretty low so I rather have it tuck a little bit rather than rub against the fender walls.

Jae the rims I'm looking to get is the Prodrive gc-010g :)

My vote goes to 39 front, 40 rear. You can always throw in a spacer to push it out the extra couple mm.

I run 18x8 & 19.5, 40mm front and back. This is on stock suspension.

Then lowered but aligned, so the top of the rear wheel will be pushed outward afterwards. Explains why the top is tucked inward:

Thanks! but I can't wait to get rid of my wheels. I'd like something with quite a bit LESS spokes and different color. Oh and in a 17/18 combo. One more thing, and lighter.

Good choice of rims :biggrin:

I got the GC-05s from SOS with a 44 offset both front/rear. The fronts were tucked in a bit too far at 44 (for my taste anyway), so I left a 5mm spacer that was on there with my previous wheels. The 44 in the rear is pretty good, it looks proportioned better front/rear now. It'd be great to get the offsets you listed, if they're available. Oh, and they're very light - the fronts weighed in at ~16lbs and rears ~18lbs.
