WOWWWW, I live in Chino Hills!!!!
i just came back from the gym and showered. I was about to go downstairs from my room.....
SHAKEEE, RUMBLEEEEEE, EARTHQUAKEEEEEE!!!!!
my instinct wassss......SAVE THE LCD TV AND MY HOME THEATER SPEAKERS!!!
So I ran to hold it in place while the whole house SHOOOOOK!!!
after it was done...i was like..shock and afraid there be more.
Checked the whole house...and only 1 picture on the wall fell to the carpet by the stairs. NSX is safe in the garage and nothing fell on it! YAYYYYY

I was at work...our sixth floor office in Santa Monica shook pretty good...seemed to settle down before getting a second kick.

We evacuated...I completely forgot to grab anything (including my cellphone), but I'm back at my desk now.

It was all the way in chino hills and we still got shaken pretty hard. My dad gave me a call and he works in orange at a surgery center. He said they felt 10 more quakes between 2.0-3.8 after the big one within like 10 min. Im just glad i wasn't in the shower when it hit.

i did the same thing, i ran to my bravia. screw the nsx.

Oh man! lol, i wonder how many others did the same thing...hahaha
yea, theres a few after shocks now, only felt 2 after shock so far.
mannnnnnnnnnnnn, kinda glad i am home right now to make sure all is good.
hope every one is ok here in southern cali!!!

I hadn't felt an earthquake since moving to my current place, so when I heard the house make its first "creak", I was like . Then I realized, "oh!". Now, I'm .

Felt weird not having cell nor landline service for a while.

Damn quake woke me up while I was napping in my car during lunch.:biggrin:

Note from San Fancisco...

Hay guys, just keep them down South please.

I have a 48" x 48" 50 pound acrylic on plexiglass on board painting over my headboard in the bedroom. When the installers were putting the painting up I asked if it would fall off during the "Big One" and squash me like a bug. They thought that was pretty funny and told be the installation would hold almost 1,000 pounds.

For the first few night I did sleep with my feet at the headboard...

Just keep them down South please.

Glad you guys are OK and hope you didn't have any damage.

Glad you're ok Garrie..I hope my tenant is ok and nothing is wrong with the house over there. I had some stuff fall way over here in OC..

Was at the Embassy suite having a meeting....and my drink tipped over and spilled on me. lolz Ran out of there along with all the tourists leaving our laptop and stuffs there. Took my external hard drive.......my life line :D

I think I had it pretty bad... I was at Paramount Pictures on Melrose.... up top in the perms of a soundstage. Lets just say 50 feet above the ground, on planks of wood spaced 4ft away from each other... and the quake hit and the wood is DESIGNED to shake back and forth to prevent any shockloading from destroying the wood-truss system above.

And the funny part was earlier in the day, my friend was joking about an earthquake happening while we were up there hanging "movie equipment".

Picture of where I was... my hand is in the picture too =]

Was pretty fun! hehehe

I was riding in Ferrari 360 Modena when that happened. We were sitting on the road wait for the light. "Oh shit what is wrong with your Ferrari". Then I saw the traffic light post started to shake and other cars pulled over to the side. That was biggest one I have ever felt since moving to SoCal.

lol at your comment to him "oh shit, what is wrong with your Ferrari" lol,
I wonder what he or she was thinking when u said that.
My neighbor was on the street driving too and she thought something was wrong with her car too when it happened, then she looked around and saw the signal lights moving.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

I called a prime member who lives in orange county right after it happened. He told me as soon as it happened he grabbed his LCD TV. LOL great minds think alike.

Glad everyone is ok.

That must have been scary up on that cat walk.

I survived a 6.8 BM yesterday. 3 taco bell tacos and bean burrito.

Wife pounds on the door "WTH is going on in there? The children are crying, the hazmat team is pulling in the driveway, and our dog ran away!"
