I think I made a good find but need help with center caps

I found this on craigslist and made the drive to Yuma to get them. The seller never had these wheels on his car (which he no longer owns), so they're in great condition. However, the center caps need help as you can see. I don't think the chrome finish was OEM, so I don't think I can get factory replacements (I'm not sure if these can be ordered in chrome finish). I looked into chrome paint, but I'm not sure that route will yield good results. I'm also considering having the chrome re-plated, but the shop that I spoke to said they don't do any kind of prep work and just send it to an aircraft machine shop to have it plated, and I'm afraid the chrome will just flake off again. Has anyone had their wheels & center caps chrome plated and can offer advice on how best to handle this matter? Thanks.

I'm about 99% sure that Acura never offered chrome wheels from the factory for the NSX. I believe that the dealerships had them chromed afterwards by a 3rd party.
That being said, you should contact companies that specialize in wheel chroming... I'm sure they'd know what to do.

There exists new tech for the chrome plating of plastic. Google it and you'll find multiple companies offering the service.
