ok, this little 2000 seadoo speedster with a mercury 240 efi is not cutting it for me anymore. I really want to turbo this sucker, but i can't seem to find anything. I have all the tools to fabricate everything and build the kit myself. I don't know how these two stroke motors work.

I don't know compression
How much boost it could handle (i'm shooting for 6psi)
going to run FPR for fuel management, but i don't know the ratio per psi (i don't know if the fic will work)
Where do i feed off for oil feed and return (maybe use a pump with a separate oil return pan and cooler)
would i need to run a cooler for air

nevermind it's not worth it. It's a two stroke motor. that explains the mixing. Damn i was so stocked on doing this project.

How about doing a swap for a 4 stroke???

what are you shooting for ?

acceleration (0-30) ? top speed ?

Evidently the quicker PWCs can accelerate quicker than a Z06 (let alone an NSX).
  • Yamaha FX SHO (1.8L I-4 4-stroke SC) can do 0-30 in 1.8 sec, and tops out at over 80 mph
  • Sea Doo RXP-X (255 hp) 0-50 in 2.9 sec

Don't the Honda ones have turbo motors stock?

Mercury efi! losing track what they got now
Had a Seadoo Speedster(much much earlier model). Many moons ago .Sold it off . Had the ones with Twin ROTAX engine 190hp total. Thought the power was more then reasonable for the size.
Just a thought, ever considered NOS ?

The Yamaha goes about 67 not 80, the sea-doo RXT-X goes about 70. And yes it does 0-50 in 2.9 I timed mine :)
