Imola orange Mitsubishi 3000GT? (a must see!!!)

I was just surfing the web, and I found this Mitsu 3000GT which has the NSX's imola orange factory color. I assume the owner's name is Jojo, and I remember seeing his car from (streetfury) G4TechTV along time ago. It used to be a candy apple red color, but I believe this is how his car looks like now. I gotta give props to the guy for how much work he has put into it. If you haven't heard of him, his 3kgt is very popular within the 3S community. The rear integrated spoiler kinda resembles that of the NSX. From what I have read from the forum, he mentioned that the NSX look was his motive. I know I shouldn't be the one sharing this with you guys because it's his car. Although, I am a 3kgt enthusiast myself, and can't help sharing what this 3kgt and the NSX have in common. What do you guys think? Imo, it looks worthy of being a 1st class showcar.

Not my taste. My bro have the same car and I like how he keep it look conservative. His have 2-plate OS Giken clutch, Borla exhaust, Tein Flex, bigger valve lifter and HKS sports filter. I wished he did the new body conversion (fixed headlamps).

So I'm confused what was he trying to make it look like? The back looks like he was going for an NSX, the front is I guess a Supra, except the only one I'm lost on (other then the whole car) is what kinda' headlights he was going for:biggrin:.

I'm not a fan of this genre of modifying myself, but I just appreciate the work he has done to the car. I don't want to turn this into a, "flame on the ricer car" thread. I just brought this up because I like 3000s and this one had the imola orange which is one of the unique colors I like about the NSX.

I'm with kilika89. I appreciate the work and dont find the car to be distasteful at all. One of the best 3000's i've seen thus far. Too bad those cars weigh so much.

LOL, maybe he didn't want an NSX. Just because it has features that resembles one, doesn't mean he wanted one. Just playing the devils advocate :smile:
